Now offering Fluoride Varnish!

Lakewood Family Medicine is now offering Fluoride Varnishing for children age 3 months to 3 years (as long as they have teeth).

What is it? Fluoride Varnish is a paste that is applied to the child's teeth. The varnish helps to prevent decay when used along with regular daily brushing.

How is it applied? Fluoride Varnish is applied with a soft brush and has a fruity flavor. The varnish dries very quickly and children can eat soon after leaving the office.

How much does this cost? Check with your insurance company. In most cases this is covered!
